Online Reporting Deadline: 15 January

Designated employers must submit their annual EEA2 and EEA4 reports online by 15 January following the opening of the reporting cycle, subject to the Department of Employment and Labour’s annual reporting notice.

    Designated employers should prepare for the following:
    • Implement and monitor the five-year Employment Equity Plan for 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2030

    • Align annual numerical goals with the applicable five-year sector targets

    • Conduct workforce analysis and meaningful employee consultation

    • Assess and document progress against annual Employment Equity targets

    • Prepare and submit accurate EEA2 and EEA4 reports

    • Maintain supporting records for Director-General reviews and labour inspections

    • Obtain an Employment Equity Compliance Certificate where required for state contracting
